          * बहुत पुरानी कथा है;। एक बार एक गुरु ने अपने सभी शिष्यों से अनुरोध किया; कि वे कल प्रवचन में आते समय अपने साथ एक थैली में बड़े-बड़े आलू साथ लेकर आएं;।* *उन आलुओं पर उस व्यक्ति का नाम लिखा होना चाहिए; जिससे वे नफरत करते हैं;।*  *जो शिष्य जितने व्यक्तियों से घृणा करता है; वह उतने आलू लेकर आए;।*  *अगले दिन सभी शिष्य आलू लेकर आए;। किसी के पास चार आलू थे; तो किसी के पास छह;।*  *गुरु ने कहा कि अगले सात दिनों तक ये आलू वे अपने साथ रखें;। जहां भी जाएं; खाते-पीते, सोते-जागते, ये आलू सदैव साथ रहने चाहिए;। शिष्यों को कुछ समझ में नहीं आया; लेकिन वे क्या करते; गुरु का आदेश था;।* *दो-चार दिनों के बाद ही शिष्य आलुओं की बदबू से परेशान हो गए;। जैसे-तैसे उन्होंने सात दिन बिताए; और गुरु के पास पहुंचे;। सबने बताया कि वे उन सड़े आलुओं से परेशान हो गए हैं;।*  *गुरु ने कहा - यह सब मैंने आपको शिक्षा देने के लिए किया था;। जब सात दिनों में आपको ये आलू बोझ लगने लगे; तब सोचिए; कि आप जिन व्यक्तियों से नफरत करते हैं; उनका कितना बोझ आपके मन पर रहता ह...

* कभी बनाना लिस्ट...क्या क्या बनाया है बीवी ने...* वो कहती है बनाने में घण्टों लगते है...  और खाने में पल भर ...  कभी कुछ बड़े जतन से बनाती है... सुबह से तैयारी करके...  कभी कुछ धुप में सुखा के... तो कभी कुछ पानी में भिगो के...  कभी मसालेदार.. तो कभी गुड़ सी मीठी...  सारे स्वाद समेट लेती हैं ... आलू के पराठों में, या गाजर के हलवे में, ऊपर बारीक कटे धनिये के पत्तो में, या पीस कर डाले गए इलाइची के दानों में... सारे स्वाद समेट देती हैं एक छोटी सी थाली में... न जाने कहाँ कहाँ से लाती है...  ना जाने कितना कुछ तो होता है ... कभी लिस्ट बनाना ...  बीवी ने जो कुछ भी.. कभी भी बनाया है...  तुम बना नही पाओगे... हमें भी बस खाना ही दिखता है... पर नही दिखती...  किचन की गर्मी,  उसका पसीना,  हाथ में गरम तेल के छींटे,  कटने के निशान, कमर का दर्द, पैरो में सूजन,  सफ़ेद होते बाल.. कभी नहीं दिखते...,, कभी तो ध्यान से देखो ना,,उस की छोटी से रसोई में... कोई दिखेगा तुम्हे ,, जो बदल गया है इतने सालो में... दांत हिले होंगे कुछ.... ...

सर्दियों की रात में ठंडक रहते हुए सवेरे नित्य कर्म पूजा पाठ के बाद में नाश्ते के लिये ताज़ा हरी मेथी के गरमागरम परांठे बनते हों तो संकोच करने का कोई मतलब ही नहीं होता...! वैसे सर्दी में सादे परांठों के साथ अचार या अभी सामने आये चटपटे मसालेदार स्वादिष्ट परांठों के साथ हल्की मिठास का अहसास देने के लिये थोडा-सा ताज़ा बनाया गया आंवला जैम हो तो बस... और क्या चाहिये...!!  हमारी स्वादयात्रा में तो यही था... आपने अभी तक नही बनाया आंवला जैम... कोई बात नहीं... सामग्री: आंवला - 500 ग्राम  (15 -18) चीनी - 500 ग्राम  (2,1/2 कप) छोटी इलाइची - 4 -5 दाल चीनी - 2 टुकड़े केसर 10 पंखुड़ी विधि: अच्छे आंवला लीजिये. आंवलों को 2 बार साफ पानी से अच्छी तरह धो लीजिये. किसी बर्तन में एक कप पानी में आंवला डुबा कर आंच पर रखिये, बर्तन को अच्छी तरह ढक दीजिये, धीमी आंच पर आंवले को नरम होने तक पका लीजिये (प्रत्येक 5 मिनिट बाद आंवले चैक कर लीजिये, नरम होने तक आंवले पकाइये, अगर आप महसूस करते हैं कि आंवले में पानी खतम हो रहा है तब आंवले में थोड़ा पानी और डाल सकते है). आंवले को छलनी में डालिये, अतिर...

Let’s start the day with  T Govindarajan &  S  Krishnamoorthy’s 1971 action thriller film *”Rakhwala”* directed by Adurthi Subba Rao.  The film starred Dharmendra, Leena Chadravarkar & Vinod Khanna. They were supported by Madan Puri, Jagdeep & Rakesh Pandey.  Rakhwala was successful movie of year 1971.  This movie has been forgotten by now, but it was a decent movie with great music. Dharmendra plays Deepak, an honest, hard working son. His family consists of his widowed mother and younger brother Suresh. By luck, he stumbles on a good job, but with the wrong man, Mr. Jwalaprasad. His mother takes his oath to protect his younger brother when on her death bed. She also reveals a family secret about his brothers real identity and missing fortune that is overheard by the dangerous Shyam. Let’s start the day with  B. L. Rawal’s 1968 romantic crime drama film *”Aabroo”*  story by  G. L. Rawal directed by C. L. Rawal.  The film starred Ashok Kumar, Nirupa Roy, Rehman, Vimi, Leela Naidu, Jeevan, Lalita Pawar, Tun Tun and Shashikala.  This often happens with me. I listen to songs of a movie I know little about, and then find out that the movie contained one outstanding song after another. There were many such movies, especially those that were produced in 1960s and 1970s. Movies like “Kaajal”, “Dosti”, “Dil ne phir yaad kiya”,”Anokhi raat”, “Adhikaar”, “Samadhi”… etc etc. were some of the examples. Saraswatichandra which I posted day before is also one of the example.  Another movie like that where little is known about the movie or its actors but the movie boasted of awesome songs has to be “Aabroo” (1968). * एक नगर में रहने वाले एक पंडित जी की ख्याति दूर-दूर तक थी। पास ही के गाँव में स्थित मंदिर के पुजारी का आकस्मिक निधन होने की वजह से, उन्हें वहाँ का पुजारी नियुक्त किया गया था। एक बार वे अपने गंतव्य की और जाने के लिए बस में चढ़े, उन्होंने कंडक्टर को किराए के रुपये दिए और सीट पर जाकर बैठ गए। कंडक्टर ने जब किराया काटकर उन्हें रुपये वापस दिए तो पंडित जी ने पाया कि कंडक्टर ने दस रुपये ज्यादा दे दिए हैं। पंडित जी ने सोचा कि थोड़ी देर बाद कंडक्टर को रुपये वापस कर दूंगा। कुछ देर बाद मन में विचार आया कि बेवजह दस रुपये जैसी मामूली रकम को लेकर परेशान हो रहे है।* *आखिर ये बस कंपनी वाले भी तो लाखों कमाते हैं, बेहतर है इन रूपयों को भगवान की भेंट समझकर अपने पास ही रख लिया जाए। वह इनका सदुपयोग ही करेंगे। मन में चल रहे विचारों के बीच उनका गंतव्य स्थल आ गया। बस से उतरते ही उनके कदम अचानक ठिठके, उन्होंने जेब मे हाथ डाला और दस का नोट निकाल कर कंडक्टर को देते हुए कहा, भाई तुमने मुझे किराया काटने के बाद भी दस रुपये ज्यादा दे दिए थे। कंडक्टर मुस्कराते हुए बोला, क्या आप ही गाँव के मंदिर के नए पुजा...

* ❤️ ईश्वर और विश्वास ❤️* एक पंडित जी समुद्री जहाज से यात्रा कर रहे थे, रास्ते में एक रात तुफान आने से जहाज को एक द्वीप के पास लंगर डालना पडा। सुबह पता चला कि रात आये तुफान में जहाज में कुछ खराबी आ गयी है, जहाज को एक दो दिन वहीं रोक कर उसकी मरम्मत करनी पडेगी। पंडित जी  नें सोचा क्यों ना एक छोटी बोट से द्वीप पर चल कर घूमा जाये, अगर कोई मिल जाये तो उस तक प्रभु का संदेश पहँचाया जाय और उसे प्रभु का मार्ग बता कर प्रभु से मिलाया जाये। तो वह जहाज के कैप्टन से इज़ाज़त ले कर एक छोटी बोट से द्विप पर गये, वहाँ इधर उधर घूमते हुवे तीन द्वीपवासियों से मिले। जो बरसों से उस सूने द्विप पर रहते थे। पंडित जी उनके पास जा कर बातचीत करने लगे। उन्होंने उनसे ईश्वर और उनकी आराधना पर चर्चा की । उन्होंने उनसे पूछा- “क्या आप ईश्वर को मानते हैं ?”  वे सब बोले- “हाँ..।“ फिर उन्होंने  ने पूछा- “आप ईश्वर की आराधना कैसे करते हैं ?" उन्होंने बताया- ''हम अपने दोनो हाथ ऊपर करके कहते हैं "हे ईश्वर हम आपके हैं,आपको याद करते हैंआप भी हमें याद रखना '' पंडित जी  ने कहा- "यह प्रार्थना त...

सुन्दर स्त्री बाद में शूर्पणखा निकली। सोने का हिरन बाद में मारीच निकला। भिक्षा माँगने वाला साधू बाद में रावण निकला। लंका में तो निशाचार लगातार रूप ही बदलते दिखते थे। हर जगह भ्रम, हर जगह अविश्वास, हर जगह शंका, लेकिन बावजूद इसके जब लंका में अशोक वाटिका के नीचे सीता माँ को रामनाम की मुद्रिका मिलती है तो वो उस पर 'विश्वास' कर लेती हैं। वो मानती हैं और स्वीकार करती हैं कि इसे प्रभु श्री राम ने ही भेजा है। जीवन में कई लोग आपको ठगेंगे, कई आपको निराश करेंगे, कई बार आप भी सम्पूर्ण परिस्थितियों पर संदेह करेंगे लेकिन इस पूरे माहौल में जब आप रुक कर पुनः किसी व्यक्ति, प्रकृति या अपने ऊपर 'विश्वास' करेंगे तो रामायण के पात्र बन जाएंगे। प्रभु श्री राम और माँ सीता केवल आपको 'विश्वास करना' ही तो सिखाते हैं।  माँ कठोर हुईं लेकिन माँ से विश्वास नहीं छूटा, परिस्थितियाँ विषम हुई लेकिन उसके बेहतर होने का विश्वास नहीं छूटा, भाई-भाई का युद्ध देखा लेकिन अपने भाइयों से विश्वास नहीं छूटा, लक्ष्मण को मरणासन्न देखा लेकिन जीवन से विश्वास नहीं छूटा,  सागर को विस्तृत देखा लेकिन अपने...

An emotional and powerful photo of a one-legged Syrian father holding his son born without lower or upper limbs has been awarded the Best Picture of the Year 2021 award at the Siena International Awards. The Turkish photographer, Mehmet Aslan, won the award for the overall winner of the competition through his photo, titled “The Hardship of Life”. The picture was taken in the Reyhanli area of ​​the Turkish province of Hatay on the border with Syria. The moment captured by Aslan depicts a father who lost one of his legs while carrying his son, who was born without limbs due to a congenital disorder caused by medications his mother had to take.

What a sadness to be old! .....I got out from the supermarket and looked for the key of my car. It was not in my pockets. I went back inside and searched among tomatoes, potatoes and all the shelves attentively but found nothing. Suddenly I realized that it could be left inside the car and the car could be stolen. I ran rapidly to the car park and THE CAR DISAPPEARED! I called the police and gave them my position, the description of the car, the license plate, etc., etc., and I confessed that I left the key inside. Then I made the most difficult call.....to my wife. Daaarling.....(my voice trembled) I left the key in the car and it's stolen! Let’s start the day and week with one of my favourite, L B Lachmana & L B Thakur’s 1962 suparhit film *”Asli Naqli”* directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee.  The film starred Dev Anand and Sadhna. They were supported by Anwar Hussain, Leela Chitnis, Mukri, Keshto Mukherjee and Moti Lal. After Anari & Mem Didi, Filmaker Hrishikesh Mukherjee Made Asli Naqli. There is a scene in which Nazir Hussain praises the workmanship of an artifact to Dev Anand when the latter is disturbed. The same scene would be repeated by Hrishikesh Mukherjee in the film Namak Haram (1973) between Om Shivpuri and Amitabh Bachchan. This is a “bus” song where Dev Anand is the bus driver and Sadhana is the only passenger. The bus goes in a deserted place and very conveniently conks off. Breathing Lord  Narasimha🙏 🙏The temple for breathing Narasimha is located at Vadappalli, The Vadapalli Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple is situated in Nalgonda district, A. P, near the town of Miryalaguda, at the confluence of the River Krishna and Musi River.  It is believed that even now that idol breathes in and let it out.
