A Note

Image
Dear Friends Sharing a Note Source: Internet A man and his dog were walking along a road. The man was enjoying the scenery, when it suddenly occurred to him that he was dead. He remembered dying, and that the dog walking beside him had been dead for years. He wondered where the road was leading them.  After a while, they came to a high, white stone wall along one side of the road. It looked like fine marble. At the top of a long hill, it was broken by a tall arch that glowed in the sunlight.  When he was standing before it he saw a magnificent gate in the arch that looked like mother-of-pearl, and the street that led to the gate looked like pure gold. He and the dog walked toward the gate, and as he got closer, he saw a man at a desk to one side. When he was close enough, he called out, 'Excuse me, where are we?'  'This is Heaven, sir,' the man answered.  Would you happen to have some water?' the man asked.  Of course, sir. Come right in, and I'll have some i

A Great Advice

Image
Dear friends Happy Noon Sharing Great Advice by Narayana Murthy Source: Internet   Have we failed in bringing up our 'modern' kids?   A very distressed neighbor shared that he had driven home after a long day at work. As he entered, he saw his wife in bed with fever. She had laid out his dinner on a tray.   Everything was there just as he wanted it. The dal, vegetables, salad, green chutney, papad and pickles... “How caring," he thought, “Even when she is unwell, she finds the strength to do everything for me.”   As he sat down to eat, he realised that something was missing. He looked up at his grown up daughter who was watching TV and said, “Beta (child), can you get me my medicine and a glass of water, please?"   She rolled up her eyeballs to show her displeasure at being disturbed, but did the favour nevertheless.   A minute later he realised that salt was missing in the dal.   He said, “Sorry beta, can you please get me some salt?"   She said, “Ufff!"

Innovative Recycled Home

Image
Dear Friends Happy Noon Source: Internet   Arun Prabhu is the one who has shocked everyone by building a wonderful house on auto rickshaw. A small house... that too on auto rickshaw. Can't believe it? So do it... Because this auto rickshaw's 36 sq ft space has not only bedroom, living room, kitchen, toilet, bathtub and workspace, but a 250 litre water tank for water. 600 watts solar panels, batteries, cupboards, hangers, doors and staircase for drying outside. It is called 'Solo 0.1', which is prepared by 23-year-old Arun Prabhu from Chennai in just one lakh rupees. Arun was doing research in the slum area of Mumbai and Chennai in 2019 Where he noticed that it costs about 4 to 5 lakh rupees to build a hut, with no necessary facilities like toilets. That's why they made ' Solo 0.1 ' for just 1 lakh rupees and found out the problem. Arun made 'Solo 0.1' from old three-wheeler and recycled items, equipped with solar batteries. Arun believes this house

Don't Overthink!!!

Image
❤Dear friends❤ 💕Happy Morning💕     💚Man is a highly evolved animal in this plant. He has the ability to hold thoughts in his head. We humans tend to overthink sometimes. We get carried away with our thoughts. In Fact we live in our thoughts.💚   🧡Thinking is an essential part of man’s growth But too much of anything is bad and so is overthinking. Most of us overthink and sometimes. We also spend sleepless nights too.🧡   💜People overthink when they have low self-confidence. When people nurture doubts about their capacity will overthink.💜   💛Overthinking leads to serious emotional distress It is a complete waste of time. When we think intensively, brain will be stressed We develop a craving for sugar. That’s not good for body’s metabolism💛   💙 Let us keep an eye on our thoughts. We have to scrutinise our thoughts. We have to focus on thoughts that will bring productive outcomes. Practice mindfulness. That is to concentrate in the present situation.💙   ❤We can think but We sh

Spread Kindness Not Hatred

Image
Dear Friends Happy Evening   Corona virus is spreading fast and claiming lives on the one side.  Hate speech is spreading like virus in our society.   In the past, people were hurting each other face to face. Now people are bullying each other with hatred in social media platforms.   Bullying and spreading hate is worse than corona virus. People affected with corona virus can be quarantined. Friends, people who are spreading hatred and hate speeches are not realising they are committing a crime and it is a punishable offence.   Friends, scientists are telling that plants die after listening to hate speeches and unkind words. What about human beings?   Two well grown plants were given to two groups school children.  One group was given a plant with a recorded voice of hate words.  Another group was given a plant with kind and loving words.   Children were asked to play the recorded voice every day at intervals.  The plant that heard unkind words wither
