Dear Friends Enjoy reading this beautiful story A student was one day taking a walk with a professor. As they went along, they saw lying in the path a pair of old shoes, which they supposed to belong to a poor man who was employed in a field close by, and who had nearly finished his day's work. The student turned to the professor, saying: "Let us play the man a trick: we will hide his shoes, and conceal ourselves behind those bushes, and wait to see his perplexity when he cannot find them." "My young friend," answered the professor, "we should never amuse ourselves at the expense of the poor.  But you are rich, and may give yourself a much greater pleasure by means of the poor man.  Put a coin into each shoe, and then we will hide ourselves and watch how the discovery affects him." The student did so, and they both placed themselves behind the bushes close by. The poor man soon finished his work, and came across the field to the path where

Everyone is Precious and Valuable

Dear friends Pleasant Evening My mother used to cook beans, but before she cooked the beans, she picked the bad and dirty beans and threw them at our backyard and only cooked the good beans. But when the rain came, the dirty and bad beans became seed and grew up and  looked beautiful. Interestingly, that same person who threw them away started  harvesting them; and she started to see that the beans she threw away some time ago  had value.  Now let me tell you, 1. Don't cry when people throw you at the backyard. 2. Don't cry when they reject you. 3. Don't cry while they are looking down at you. 4. Some may see you as a burden. 5. Some may say you are too dull. 6. Some may say it was because of your past mistakes. Don't worry. The rain is coming and the same people who are rejecting you will invite you. God loves even those that are left out and looked down upon. God will bless you, just stay connected to Him and everyone will see how valuable you are. Unkno

A True Story

Here’s an interesting read to the end....... Kindness is the rent you are paying for occupying the space on this planet  Once a TTE (Train Ticket Examiner) who was  on duty on a Bangalore bound train from Mumbai caught a girl who was hiding under a seat. She was around 13 or 14 years old.  The TTE asked the girl to produce her ticket. The girl hesitantly replied that she had no ticket.   The TTE told the girl to get off the train immediately. Suddenly, a voice from behind said "I will pay for her".  That was the voice of Mrs. Usha Bhattacharya, who was a college lecturer  by profession. Mrs. Bhattacharya paid  for the girl's ticket and requested her to sit near her.she asked her what her name was. "Chitra",  the  girl replied. "Where you are going?" "I have nowhere to go." the girl said..  "Then come with me."  Mrs. Bhattacharya told her.  After reaching Bangalore, Mrs. Bhattacharya handed over the girl to an NGO, to be

Strange But True Facts of Life

Dear Friends Happy Thursday Following are some strange scientific facts A single sneeze travels 100 miles per hour and shoots  100,000  germs  into the air. Stomach acid  is strong enough to dissolve metal. The term “OK” probably comes from a misspelling of the  phrase “all correct.” Ancient Romans used urine to whiten their teeth. Tsunamis can move at speeds over 500 miles per hour! Chewing gum can’t be digested. Babies don’t have knee caps. Our intestines are four times as long as we are Humans are the only animal that weep. But following are the real life facts In spite of so many colours - White is considered Class. In spite of so many voices & sounds - Silence is considered ultimate. In spite of so much to eat - Fasting is considered healthy. In spite of so much to travel & explore - Meditating under trees & on mountains is considered superior. In spite of so much to see - Closing your eyes & looking within is Apex. In spite of listening to all the outside

Dear friends Happy Evening These days most of the young lovers separate on account of some or the other problem. They love with many conditions. Their expectations are too high. So their love fails. They face emotional problems. When in love be soft. Be tender and gentle The three qualities are applicable to both the sexes.
