Dear Friends Happy Evening Sharing an anecdote Enjoy reading *Russi Mody*, Chairman of Tata Steel between 1984-1993 He was once holding a weekly meeting with Tata Steel staff at a football ground in Jamshedpur. A worker took up a niggling issue. He said the quality and hygiene of toilets for workers was very bad. Whereas, he pointed out that the cleanliness and hygiene of Executives toilets are always very good. Mr Mody asked his top executive how much time he needs to set it right. The executive asked for a month to set it right. Mr Mody said "I would rather do it in a day. Send me a carpenter." Next day, when the carpenter came, he ordered the signboards to be swapped !!! The signboard on the "Workers" toilet was changed to "Executives" and Executive toilet to "Workers". The Tata Chairman then gave instructions to inter-change it every fortnight! It said that in the heart of the city a new shop with modern amenities  will be opened The shop is called HATRED and it sells only HATRED I decided to visit the shop because I wanted to know the cost of HATRED. Dear Friends Happy Afternoon   A “mouse” was put at the top of a jar filled with grains. He was too happy to find so much food around him. Now he is very happy and feels that he need to run around searching for food As he enjoyed the grains, in a few days’ time, he reached the bottom of the jar. Now he is trapped and he cannot come out of it. He has to solely depend upon someone to put grains in the same jar for him to survive. He may not even get the grain of his choice and he cannot choose either. This trapped mouse is teaching us the following: Living in the comfort zones will not help us to grow in our life. Short term pleasures can lead to long-term traps. If things are coming easy and we are getting comfortable with it, then we should understand that we are getting trapped into survival mode.
