Lessons From a Trapped Mouse
Happy Afternoon
A “mouse” was put at the top of a jar filled with grains.
He was too happy to find so much food around him.
Now he is very happy and feels that he need to run around searching for food
As he enjoyed the grains, in a few days’ time, he reached the bottom of the jar.
Now he is trapped and he cannot come out of it.
He has to solely depend upon someone to put grains
in the same jar for him to survive.
He may not even get the grain of his choice and he cannot choose either.
This trapped mouse is teaching us the following:
Living in the comfort zones will not help us to grow in our life.
Short term pleasures can lead to long-term traps.
If things are coming easy and we are getting comfortable with it,
then we should understand that we are getting trapped into survival mode.
Easy and comfortable life will make us lazy and inactive.
We will neither use our intellect nor our skills.
We also lose our problem solving abilities.
Just observe the mouse. He has eaten the grains without physical activities
That has added weight to his body . So he is unable to jump
His limbs have become weak and useless because of lack of movement.
The mouse has become a sick animal.
Till the end of our life, it is necessary that we should move our body
We have to keep ourselves active by doing physical work
If we eat food without doing work or exercises the cells in our body will start dying
So friends working and exercising our body is very essential
We must not forget that nothing comes easily in life
If it comes easily, maybe it is not worth it.
If we want to enjoy the fragrance of roses we have to get pricked
Kind Regards
