 *”Shubh Dhanteras & Depawali “* 
with Shyam Sunder Shivdasani’s 1984 action adventure film *”Wanted: Dead or Alive”* directed by Ambrish Sangal. 

The film starred Shammi Kapoor, Mithun Chakraborty & Tina Munim. They were supported by Om Shivpuri, Mazhar Khan, Mac Mohan, Krishan Dhawan, Asrani and Deepti Naval. 

The film was special for Mithun because it was his first time working with Tina Munim. Tina had refused to work with Mithun in his early days due to thinking he was B grade hero in B grade films. When Mithun finally found stardom, it was Tina who immediately agreed to do Wanted.

The producer of Wanted, Shyam Sundar Shivdasani and director Ambrish Sangal made 3 films together: Dard, Wanted & Begaana.

Film was written by Aruna Sangal wife of director Amrish Sangal.Aruna Sangal is best known for her character of Pooja Aunty in TV series Hum Paanch.

There was a shelved film, Ayodhya Films "Wanted" (1977). The project starred Shatrughan Sinha, Reena Roy, Amjad Khan,Ranjeet,Bindu. The film's music was by Kalyanji Anandji and directed by Ravi Tandon.
