Jab Koyi Baat Bigad Jaye❤️

Let’s start the day with Mukesh Bhatt’s 1990 action film *”Jurm”* directed by Mahesh Bhatt. 

The film starred Vinod Khanna, Meenakshi Seshadri and Sangeeta Bijlani. They were supported by Shafi Inamdar, Gopi Desai, Sharat Saxena, Anang Desai, Akash Khurana, Mahesh Anand and Om Shivpuri. 

Between 1988-1992, Vinod Khanna and Shafi Inamdar starred together in four films (Aakrhi Adalat, Jurm, C.I.D., and Humshakal). And in all four of these movies, both the actors played police officers.

The film was said to have sold for a heavy price after the success of Vinod Khanna 's last few movies.

Despite the soundtrack releasing in November 1989 the film released nearly 9 months later. When released it was an average fare at the box office.

Salim Khan and Mahesh Bhatt had a falling out over money matters. This would make Salman Khan swear never to work with Mahesh Bhatt.

Vinod Khanna stopped the shooting several times because he was not happy with his pay check. So his pay was increased several times.

Today’s superb song picturised on Vinod Khanna, Meenakshi Sheshadri, Shafi Inaamdaar, Gopi Desai etc. 

Kumar Sanu is, he has sung this song superbly and it has got to be one of his best songs ever. Sadhana Sargam sounds so sweet, almost sugar like.

Picturisation is excellent. Shafi Inaamdaar’s wife , played by Gopi Desai, is unhappy and this song, sung at a party sees attempts by Shafi, helped by Vinod Khanna and Meenakshi, to assuage her hurt feelings.

This tune is inspired from the wonderful song “500 miles” ( Peter Paul & Mary version/ brothers four version), that has been sung in US for decades by many artists. Despite this tune being inspired from west, this song itself still deserves to be rated as an outstanding song.

The music at 0:12 in the song "Jab Koi Baat Bigadh Jaye" from Jurm was inspired from Kishore Kumar's humming in the beginning of the song " Tum Mile Pyar Se Mujhe Jeena" from Apradh. The humming portion was only in the film and not in the audio released in LP's etc.

Jab Koi Baat Bigad Jaye had a remix cover version in the album Love 2 Love Part 2 by 2Kool. This was in 1996.

Singer Joesph (Joe) Raj did a cover version for the song "Jab Koi Baat" for his album Sunder Ladki. This was in 1993.

Let’s start the day with Prakash Mehra’s 1978 crime action drama  film *”Muqaddar Ka Sikandar”* directed by Prakash Mehra.  The film starred Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Khanna, Rakhee and Rekha. They were supported by Ranjeet, Nirupa Roy, Kadar Khan, Shreeram Lagoo, Ram Sethi, Goga Kapoor, Sulochana and Amjad Khan.  This was Amitabh Bachchan and Vinod Khanna's final movie together, ending one of the greatest duos in Bollywood. Before Vinod Khanna's passing, he worked with Bachchan's son Abhishek in Players in 2012. The film's set collapse right after they finished shooting. Hearing the loud thud,the cast came all out from their makeup room too see what happened. It was so serious that had any actor been present,they would have not survived.
