Beautiful Song of the Day

Let’s start the day with 
Mukhram Sharma& N. C. Sippy’s drama film *”Diwana”* directed by Mahesh Kaul. 

The film starred Raj Kapoor and Saira Banu. They were supported by Lalita Pawar, Kamal Kapoor,Leela Mishra, Ravinder Kapoor, Salim Khan and Kanhaiyalal. 

This film is also remembered for Kamal Kapoor's strong performance as Raj Kapoor's father.

Raj Kapoor's son Rishi did a movie with the same title 25 years later in 1992, with a different storyline.

All the songs were popular and played on radio before the film release.

Some are still popular like "Diwana Mujhko Log Kahein ", "Jisne Tumhe Chand Si Surat", "Hum To Jate Apne Gaon" and "Tumhari Bhi Jai Jai". 

Today’s song is sung by Mukesh and it is lip synced by Raj Kapoor, with Saira Bano watching him. Hasrat Jaipuri is the lyricist. Music is composed by Shankar Jaikishan.

Let’s start the day with Prakash Mehra’s 1978 crime action drama  film *”Muqaddar Ka Sikandar”* directed by Prakash Mehra.  The film starred Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Khanna, Rakhee and Rekha. They were supported by Ranjeet, Nirupa Roy, Kadar Khan, Shreeram Lagoo, Ram Sethi, Goga Kapoor, Sulochana and Amjad Khan.  This was Amitabh Bachchan and Vinod Khanna's final movie together, ending one of the greatest duos in Bollywood. Before Vinod Khanna's passing, he worked with Bachchan's son Abhishek in Players in 2012. The film's set collapse right after they finished shooting. Hearing the loud thud,the cast came all out from their makeup room too see what happened. It was so serious that had any actor been present,they would have not survived.
