Zindagi Hansne Gane Ke Liye Hai"

Let’s start the day with B R Chopra’s 1975 hit action film *”Zameer”* directed by Ravi Chopra.

The film starred Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Khanna & Saira Banu. They were supported by Madan Puri, Indrani Mukherjee, Ramesh Deo, Minoo Mumtaz, Jagdish Raj and Shammi Kapoor.

This film may have been inspired by the plot of the film "Bombai Ka Babu" (1960) starring Dev Anand. "Bombai Ka Babu" (1960) itself was probably an adaptation of the short story "A Double-Dyed Deceiver" by O. Henry. The short story had been adapted earlier for the silent crime drama of the same title in 1920.

This movie shares a number of similarities with "Parvarish" that was released two years later. In both movies, Shammi Kapoor and Indirani Mukherjee play husband and wife and in both movies Vinod Khanna is their real son while Amitabh Bachchan is their adopted son.

Ravi Chopra 's first film as director with a big star cast and also Shammi Kapoor's first film in character role, he was only in his 40s at that time.. He and Saira Banu played father and daughter in this film and they have played the hero-heroine in Junglee.

After about. 30. years B.R.Chopra, Ravi Chopra and Amitabh Bachan came again in Baghban and then in Babul.

Shammi Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan had become close during the films shooting.During the evenings after pack up would enjoy with songs and music. While Amitabh Bachchan was playing a guitar one day Shammi Kapoor mesmerized a tune inspired from a flock song. After almost five years Amitabh Bachchan with Shammi Kapoor's permission used the tune for his film Silsila 1981 for the song “Neela Aasman So Gaya” which was sung by him.

Amitabh's only film with Mehmood's sister Minoo Mumtaz. But they had no scene's together. Minoo only accepted a cameo in the film due to B.R. Chopra's request. She was already married and retired by 1975.

Music composer Sapan Chakravorty's last hindi film as music composer. He also assisted R.D.Burman in many movies.

Here is a lively song from this movie, which is a philosophical song and it is a song with a message.

This inspirational song is written by Sahir Ludhianvi. Sapan Chakravarty is the music director. Kishore Kumar has sung this song wit his customary enthusiasm and gusto.
