Hot water vs Cold water

We have to drink sufficient water to keep away health problems.
In Modern homes we are concerned about drinking water from a
water purifier. But we don’t pay much attention to the temperature of water.

The question arises whether we have to drink cold water or
warm water? What are their benefits?

Benefits of Drinking Warm Water

Drinking warm water has a lot of benefits.
Warm water helps in reducing caffeine and tea intake.

A glass of warm water in the morning is great for cleansing
your body as it flushes out toxins
Warm water plays an essential role in breaking down food
and also keeps your digestive system healthy.


When we drink warm water after meals it breaks down
food at a faster rate, thereby making the food items easy to digest.
Consumption of cold water after a meal hardens the oil present in
various food items making it difficult to digest food.

A glass of warm water flushes out the toxins present in our body
which enter our system through food we eat, environment,
and stress are sticky and greasy.
We can also add lemon juice, mint and cucumber to improve
the taste of the detox warm water.

It is advisable to drink a glass of warm water, when we have
a headache or inflammation of any kind.
Warm water stimulates blood flow, cures headache and inflammation.

 Benefits of drinking Cold Water

After a strenuous workout, body temperature increases.
It is recommended to drink cold water after workout as it helps in
regulating your body temperature.

Drinking cold water during summer is very beneficial for our health.
Drinking a glass of cold water soothes our body and reduces
the chances of heat stroke.
Another advantage of drinking cold water is it helps in losing weight.
Drinking cold water boosts your metabolism which in turn burns
the extra calories from your body.
Avoid drinking warm water right after exercising or when
go home from scorching heat.
Avoid drinking cold water immediately after eating.
If we drink cold water, our body needs more energy to break
down the food and takes longer time to digest food.
Slowing down the digestion process can also lead to indigestion.
Conclusion:
Drinking warm water improves blood circulation and also
protects our internal organs. So drink warm water.
