Let us see the uniqueness of  the bird Alpine Swift,

a migratory bird. It belongs to the species of swift.

This bird mainly lives in southern Europe and in parts of Asia.

Alpine swifts breed in mountains from southern Europe to the Himalaya.

The Alpine Swift is a remarkable bird that is best known

for its incredible ability to fly for ten months without ever having to land.

They have a wingspan of 7 ½-feet and weigh less than one pound.

The Alpine Swift is believed to be one of the fastest flying birds and

can reach speeds of up to 105 miles-per-hour.

They can fly up to 13,000-feet in the air which can make it

difficult for humans to see them when they are flying overhead.

They are on their wings all the time. So they have short and weak legs.

When they are on land they can be easy prey predators on the land.

The months that they aren’t flying are usually spent laying eggs

and raising their chicks. They feed on insects on the go.
