What is Brahma Padartham?🔱 
‘Brahma Padartham’ is said to be a divine, eternal, and mysterious substance embedded within the idol of Lord Jagannath during the Nabakalebara ritual - the ritual of replacing old deities with new ones, which happens every 12-19 years. 

According to legends and beliefs: 
This sacred object is not man-made and is believed to carry divine consciousness. 
It is placed inside the heart cavity of the murty. 

Only few designated priests (called Daitapatis) are allowed to handle or see it. 
During its transfer, blindfolds are used, and no light is allowed intense. even touching it is considered spiritually
