Details 👇  The "Table for One" in Captain Vikram Batra  mess at IMA is a memorial dedicated to soldiers missing in action or taken as POW. It is symbolic representation of their sacrifices, with each items on the table signifying a poignant aspect of their experience   CHAIR Represents the solitary confinement and hardship faced by a prisoner of war  UNLIT Candle It symbolizes the unwavering spirit of the missing soldiers despite their capture and potential torture  UNTURNED plate and empty glass It signifies the uncertainity of their return and the finality of their absence   RED ROSE Represents the enduring hope and patience of their families, who are still waiting for their loved ones  LEMON and Salt It symbolizes the bitterness of their families' fate and the tears they shed due to uncertainity  RED Ribbon It represents the support and determination of those who advocate for a proper accounting of the missing soldiers.
