Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas”*..Song of the Day

Yesterday’s song correct write up. 

Let’s start with one of my favourite song from Vinod Doshi’s 1973 film *”Blackmail”* directed by Vijay Anand. 

The film starred Dharmendra, Rakhee and Shatrughn Sinha with Madan Puri, Kamal Kapoor and Iftekhar. 

Vijay (Goldie) Anand made 3 films big with Dharmendra, Black Mail, Ram Balram & Rajput.

Vijay Anand stated the film flopped because of miscasting. Dharmendra was cast in a soft romantic role when he was a action hero. Shatrughan Sinha was cast as a villain when he had ready switched over to lead roles. Rakhee got pregnant during the making of the film and announced her retirement.

Vijay Anand (director and writer) and Kalyanji-Anandji (music writing team) had previously made Johny Mera Naam together.

A film titled "Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas" was being made in 1999 and got shelved. Starring Vinay Anand,Kashmira Shah,Nirmal Pandey,Priyanka Trivedi,Shalini Kapoor,Govind Namdeo,Produced by Ashok Mishra,Directed by Brahmanand.

"Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas Tum Rehti Ho" sung by Kishore Kumar is often ranked as one of the best songs of his career, which made it so popular that it was recreated by Abhijit Vaghani in the 2016 film Wajah Tum Ho, and its title inspired a 2019 movie of the same name, directed by Dharmendra's son Sunny Deol, and starring his grandson Karan Deol.

Dil To Hai Dil”

Let’s start the day with Prakash Mehra’s 1978 crime action drama  film *”Muqaddar Ka Sikandar”* directed by Prakash Mehra.  The film starred Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Khanna, Rakhee and Rekha. They were supported by Ranjeet, Nirupa Roy, Kadar Khan, Shreeram Lagoo, Ram Sethi, Goga Kapoor, Sulochana and Amjad Khan.  This was Amitabh Bachchan and Vinod Khanna's final movie together, ending one of the greatest duos in Bollywood. Before Vinod Khanna's passing, he worked with Bachchan's son Abhishek in Players in 2012. The film's set collapse right after they finished shooting. Hearing the loud thud,the cast came all out from their makeup room too see what happened. It was so serious that had any actor been present,they would have not survived. The only film of Prakash Mehra and Amitabh in which Amitabh dies in the end.
