Erase the Word" DEFEAT" From Your Life
Dear Friends
Happy and Pleasant Evening to you.
Defeat is a state of mind. We accept defeat when our mind refuses to
try and make several attempts
According to all great thinkers there is no such thing called defeat
If we accept defeat in the real sense then we have to understand
that we lack determination and dedication towards our goal.
Let us reflect upon our childhood stories.
In the Hare and tortoise story, though the tortoise is a slow worker,
was perseverant in its objective.
In the King Bruce and Spider story, the king was inspired
seeing the spider successfully spinning its web without getting defeated.
In nature we see the persistent efforts of the river, wind and sun.
These are natural forces but have tremendous energy.
Persistent efforts of a river helps the river to penetrate rocks.
High velocity winds are destructive in nature but wind at optimum
velocity is used for generating electricity.
We are aware of both constructive and destructive uses of sun’s heat
In recent times, the great scientist, Edison, illuminated the e
entire globe with his invention of the Electric bulb and tried thousands
and thousands of metals as filament.
He remarked, "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways
that won't work.".. By his words we can see that he never accepted defeat.
Friends, we should never feel defeated when we fail in exams or
in any business venture or in any life problems or challenges.
We have to not only try and be persistent in our task till we succeed.
Suppose a person wants to become a swimmer, he should jump
into water and practice swimming. Therefore, keeping on trying
here means we have to learn new strategies.
Alter the plans and methods, practice different ways and try unendingly.
Then, success will be ours and we can erase the word defeat
from the book of our life.
Quoting Ramana Maharishi, “No one succeeds without effort...
Those who succeed owe their success to perseverance”.
Kind Regards
