Incredible Indians!!!

❤Dear Friends❤
🌹Happy Morning🌹

💙The main occupation of our ancient Indians is agriculture.
They were growing abundant food grains.
Storage of the grains is very important💙
💕How were they storing?💕
💜They were storing in a mud  structure called Mud Rhombus.
🧡The shape is either cylindrical or spherical or circular.
💚It is built from a mixture of dried straw and mud or clay.
💛It is  resting on large stones covered with a thatched roof .
💙They were storing the grains for 2 to 5 years
🧡They were loading the grains from the top.
💚The top was covered with a thatched roof.
💛Minimum of four men were required to manually load the grains.
❤The first person stays on the ground, loosens the bundles
💜He  passes it to the second person who is on top of the bin or on a ladder.
💙The third person is inside the structure or on another ladder collects the grains
🧡The fourth person arranges it in the rhombus.
💚To offload the grains from the rhombus, they break the rhombus
or create an opening.
💛After the complete evacuation of the grains, they seal the opening.
❤This is an economical method of storing grains and the grains will not spoil.
💙They were using locally available material to build the container.
💜The container is eco friendly, energy efficient and the grains had a long shelf life

💕Our ancient Indians were absolutely scientific!!!💕

🌹Kind Regards🌹
